Erik the Red Seafood ehf. aims to produce product of high quality and safety. The company works towards being the leader in quality matters on its market.  Erik the Red Seafood is constantly improving its products and food safety management systems to ensure that products meet laws, regulations and food safety standards as well as consumers’ requirements. The company tries its best to minimize waste and food loss by increasing the production of side-products.

The food safety management system is based on GMP and hazard analysis. The system is intended to ensure wholesomeness and food safety through-out all processing steps. Internal surveillance is conducted to ensure compliance. Erik the Red Seafood has also adopted Food safety culture and ensures that it is met through regular goal setting.

The company has procedures to ensure the products’ safety and quality is a priority.
